The award-winning Solum Olive Oil Blend is produced by four different varieties of olives from the farm: canino, frantoio, moraiolo and leccino. The olives are harvested separately as per their maturation period.
The oil is then mixed with the following portion: 30% canino, 30% frantoio, 20% moraiolo, 20% leccino.
It has a medium fruity taste with bitter almonds notes, herbs and banana. There is the initial taste of almond with hints of medicinal herbs while artichoke lingers pleasantly as an aftertaste. It also has an exceptional low acidity of around 0.1%.
